This week, we were lucky enough to be visited again by Little City. The children had a fantastic time dressing up and role playing. The farm and shop were particularly popular.

Sealife Adventure

We all had a fantastic time at Sealife Adventure. The children enjoyed seeing the fish, monkeys, penguins and all the other animals. We were lucky enough to see the penguins being fed and the children all agreed that their lunch looked tastier than the penguins!. After seeing all the animals, we played on the beach in the sunshine, which was a lovely end to a fabulous day.

The children's behaviour was fantastic and we were all super proud of them.

Outdoor Learning - 6th January 2022

Today, Santa came to see us. We followed the clues and eventually found him in his sleigh.

Look what the cheeky elf has been up to.

Santa Dash

Today, we went for a walk to see what the cheeky elf had been up to. He had made such a mess!!

As today was Kindness day at Eastwood, we joined the rest of the school on the playground to sing.

Look at our socks!!!

This week, we had a vote to decide which nursery rhyme we want to learn next week. After counting the votes, we have decided on 5 Little Speckled Frogs.

This week, we have been learning about Bonfire night and fireworks. We made underwater fireworks, it was great fun.

Bumblebee class are really proud of our firework display. We enjoyed making the rockets and writing the sounds that fireworks make.

As we have been learning the nursery rhyme, Hickory Dickory Dock, we took Bumblebee class to see all the clocks in our clock corridor. We saw big clocks and little clocks and pointed to any numbers that we recognised.

This week, we had our first outdoor learning lessons of the school year. We had great fun singing in Hagrid's hut, making mud pies and swinging on rope swings.

It is always so exciting to have Mickey and Minnie in school.

This week, we have been investigating, role playing, building and making music.

We enjoyed dressing up on animal dress up day.

Our Classroom

Our returning children, have had a great first week back and are so excited about making new friends with our new children next week.
