At Eastwood Primary School and Nursery lunchtimes have been adapted due to Covid 19. Times for lunches can be found in the attachment below. Children can have a school dinner, bring in a packed lunch from home or go home for lunch.
Our school dinners are not just delicious – they are good for you too. They meet the national nutritional standards that were introduced in 2006 to make sure that children have a healthy and balanced diet.
During Covid 19. children can choose from a cold or hot lunch option on a two weekly basis. Lunchtime options will contain vegetables or salad. Fresh homemade bread, fresh salad, fresh fruit and yoghurts are served daily. Children can have to bring their own water bottle during Covid 19.
If your child has a food allergy or intolerance, please let us know. We will be happy to cater for them.
School dinners cost £2.30 per day. This should be paid via our online service. Please pseak to the school office for more information.
From time to time we will have a fun school meal with a special theme.

Current school menu - Covid 19
During Covid 19, children will be asked to choose what they would like for lunch for the whole week on a Monday morning. If your child is having a school dinner, parents and carers are advised to discuss the lunch choices with their child prior to coming to school on a Monday, so that their child knows what lunches they would like for the week. Children will have school dinners on a two weekly rota, which can be found attached below.
