Sealilfe Adventure - what an amazing day we all had!

Santa Dash and Christmas Cards

Outdoor Learning and Christmas Dinner! We had a great time again with Mr Moore making our reindeers as well as enjoying a delicious lunch!

Kindness Day! We have enjoyed completing lots of different activities about kindness as well as wearing odd socks!

Our PSHE lessons this half term are being delivered by Southend United Community. They are teaching us about making healthy food choices, eating a balanced diet, physical activity, how the heart and lungs work as well as taking part in practical activities. We were very lucky because today we had a visit from Sam Dalby and Nathan Ralph who play for Southend United. We asked them lots of questions such as; when did they start playing football, what types of foods do they eat before a game, what they would do if they weren't playing football and many more.

Outdoor Learning with Mr Moore! We had such a great day playing team building games and cooking :)

A special video call with Nathan Maguire (British Wheelchair Racer)

We have had some lovely visit from Mickey, Minnie and Peppa - they are really proud of everyone's attendance!

PSHE - Being me in my world!

We have had great fun learning about 'being me in my world' during our PSHE lessons. We have identified our goals for this year, considered choices we make about our own behaviour because we understand what it feels like to be rewarded but also to receive consequences. In addition, to understand the difference between our rights and responsibilities and how our behaviour can impact a group. Throughout this unit, we have learnt a song, which is all about dreams and goals that we might have and how to achieve them. I hope you enjoy listening to it as much as we have :)

PSHE - Song Lyrics

Whole Class earned Hot Chocolate Friday for making right choice and showing excellent learning behaviours!

Animal Theme Day

Wow! Where shall I start....

We had such an amazing afternoon with Mr Moore.

To begin with, we sang a variety of songs (I'm sure you now know them all of by heart). Then, we were able to roast our own marshmallows and create s'mores. They were delicious! We are so lucky to be able to experience this again next month.

Today, we had a great day, dressing up as different animals to celebrate our new class names and enjoying a themed menu for lunch. It was lovely to see so many children participating and being very creative with their ideas!

Books we are enjoying in Polar Bear Class!
