Intent
We want all our children to nurture and grow their love and respect of the outdoor environment. By providing opportunities for creativity, teamwork and independence, we aim for our children to embrace failure and to see it as part of their learning journey.
Implementation
Outdoor learning at Eastwood Primary School and Nursery is centered on the ethos that children should be given the freedom to develop themselves through hands on, self-led learning, and the opportunity to make discoveries and take risks.
Every half term, our children will have to chance to work with our Outdoor Learning Specialist in the beautiful surroundings our school and engage in a range of activities which build upon the principles of creativity, teamwork and independence.
